Teen Advocate Job Opening
Turning Point, a program offering services to victims of domestic violence, is seeking the position of a Teen Advocate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Prepare and make presentations in classrooms and to parent groups regarding domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, in an effort to identify domestic violence victims, prevent future violent relationships and provide individual advocacy or referrals to needed services

Serve as a liaison for teens with schools, social service agencies, and other Turning Point staff and programs to coordinate service delivery.

Provide assistance in creating age-appropriate individualized safety plans.

Maintain and compile statistics, and complete all appropriate reports as required.

Prepare and make speeches to community groups and assist with community education and outreach efforts as needed.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary range is commensurate with experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is required.
