Victim's Rights Advocate Job Opening
Turning Point, a program offering services to victims of domestic violence, is seeking the position of a Victim’s Rights Advocate. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provide legal advocacy for residents and non-residents including providing information about their legal issues such as filing domestic violence charges, child custody and support actions, divorce, various protection orders, etc.

Develop agency relationships with all law enforcement officials, attorneys, prosecuting attorneys, and court personnel, and provide training and consultation when available.

Accompanying clients to legal appointments, hearings, etc. upon request.

Providing emotional support to victims of domestic violence

Document case activity in each client’s file and maintain other necessary records
This is a full-time position with benefits. Salary range is commensurate with experience.
A Degree in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other Human Services field or related work experience is required.
