Development Director Position Opening

The Development Director’s chief concern is the growth of the organization. The role of the Development Director is to develop and implement a strategic plan to raise vital funds for their organization in a cost-effective and time-efficient manner in alignment with the organization's strategic plan. The Development Director serves as the senior fundraising manager at Turning Point and acts at the direction of the President/CEO and Board of Directors to plan and implement the growth and fundraising goals and strategies for the organization. The Development Director is responsible for the alignment, coordination, planning, organizing, and directing all of Turning Point’s fundraising including, the major gifts program, annual fund, planned giving, special events, some grants, capital campaigns, and other fundraising projects and programs. The Development Director will also work closely with the finance staff to prepare and organize budgets related to giving and donor programs. The Development Director will work with the Outreach Staff coordinate and align messaging for public relations, public affairs, earned media campaigns, social media, newsletters, and branding efforts. The Director works closely with the President/CEO and the Board of Directors in all development, partnership, and fundraising endeavors.

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

This is a full-time position with benefits.  Salary range is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year.
